We believe in a democracy that works for everyone, not just the powerful or the privileged. Our values are rooted in the fundamental promise of equality, opportunity, and justice for all.
As members of the Democratic Party, we affirm the following principles:
We believe every person deserves dignity, respect, and the freedom to live without fear of discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or background.
We believe democracy is strongest when every voice is heard. Voting is a right—not a privilege—and our systems should expand participation, protect fair elections, and ensure accountability.
We believe in economic opportunity that rewards work, strengthens the middle class, protects workers, and ensures that no one is left behind. Prosperity should be shared, not concentrated.
Access to quality healthcare, education, and safe communities is essential to a thriving society, not luxuries reserved for a few.
We believe the government should be a force for good—working transparently and responsibly to serve the public interest, protect civil liberties, and uphold the rule of law.
We believe in facts, science, and thoughtful solutions. Progress requires honesty, compassion, and a willingness to work together to solve complex challenges.
We believe leadership is about service. Our commitment is to listen, to lead with integrity, and to build a future that reflects our shared values of fairness, freedom, and opportunity.
This is our creed. This is our commitment. This is the democracy we strive to strengthen, together.
